GETTING TO MARCO ISLAND

Main access road to this enchanted island is I-75, known
as Alligator Alley.  Exit 101 will take you to Marco Island.  
You will be on Collier Blvd (SR 951).  Continue on Collier
Blvd. to:

    # 890 - Seas Winds of Marco on the right side of the
    road
    OR
    # 900 - Apollo Condominiums on the right side of
    the road

For a more scenic ride, take US Highway 41 (Tamiami
Trail) from Miami, Fort Lauderdale, and Palm Beach.  This
two-hour drive will take you through the Everglades and
Big Cypress National Preserve where you can stop along
the way to experience the numerous scenic overlooks and
spot native birds and wildlife.

Southwest Florida International Airport (RSW) is the region’s largest airport, having added a
new terminal in 2005.  Most domestic airlines serve the airport, along with LTU from Germany.

Naples Municipal Airport (APF) offers commuter and direct flights to and from nearby
international airports, along with direct service from Atlanta on Delta Airlines.

Marco Island Executive Airport offers private jet service and charter flights to and from nearby
international airports.

Charlotte County Airport (PGD) is located on Southwest Florida's Gulf Coast in Punta Gorda,
Florida, halfway between Sarasota and Ft. Myers. This airport is 80 miles north of Marco Island,
about an hour and half drive.

Sarasota Bradenton International Airport (SRQ) is an alternative airport to consider when
trying to keep airfare costs down. This airport, located in Sarasota is 137 miles or 2 hours 15 minutes
north of Marco Island.

Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport (FLL) is located 117 miles or 2 hours
from Marco Island. Like, the Sarasota Bradenton Airport, it is an alternative to consider when trying
to keep airfare costs down.

Miami International Airport (MIA) is located 103 miles or 2 hours from Marco Island. This
airport is another option to consider when researching less expensive airfare.
